How Can a MasterMind Group Benefit You? A Few Takeaways From Black Book

Hanging around people with the skills, attitudes, contacts, and resources you lack helps. Yes, it really matters who is in your Master Mind. Do what you can. No excuses. Demonstrate and teach the other members the skills you have. Keep practicing until you can do your new skill in your sleep. Then, continue to learning the next skill. – Page 3

Sometimes, it’s tough to gain unbiased advice. Sometimes the scandal is what’s legal. Not always, but frequently. The opinions of friends and families are usually intended as help. The opinions of marketers, schemers and nosy activists are probably not. A dunce would turn their responsibilities over to a wolf. Then the dunce would be surprised when the (new) scam doesn’t work. Keep in mind that schemers are often duplicitous and unreasonable. – Page 4

Sheeple see people on TV who are entitled to run roughshod over others, and take “their cut.” Now the sheeple feel entitled to run roughshod, just like their mentors on TV. This is one major way the entitlement mentality spreads among people. Sometimes the scandal is perfectly legal. It appears entitlement starts at the top. – Page 6

Avoid critics, go nowhere types, and parasites as much as possible. Obviously, try to be a producer or contributor, not a parasite. Be in control of your mindset. Monitor what you say to yourself. Keep your standards and your consciousness high. As Donald Trump says, “cover the downside.” Be as independent as possible. – Page 7

Forgiveness is a good value as long as the trespass stops. But if it’s used by schemers to railroad you, fleece you, the voters, victims of crime, and etc. But we still forgive. Avoid having the Stockholm syndrome, where the victim is taught to identify with their attacker. Industriousness is a value. Treating your body as a temple is a good value. A good principle is to always treat people fairly. Giving and sharing what you can afford among your MasterMind and anyone else you choose is very helpful to a MasterMind that operates in a spirit of unity and harmony. Page 11

A good MMG covers the blind spots of its membership. Humans have what are called “circles of knowledge” and all humans have generally limited experience. No one knows it all. So cover each other’s blind spots whenever possible. You can also be the eyes and ears of your MasterMind. Page 11

Look for people who are working on their “Plan B” instead of making excuses or carelessly over-celebrating their success. (A Plan B isn’t just a failsafe. It’s also knowing the next set of goals to reach.) What can a person do to inspire you besides work on their Plan B? How else could a person, you or the prospective MMG member demonstrate they invest in themselves? Get ripped? Study longevity and make positive changes? Can the person turn the tide in local politics or in a corporate or social struggle? Talk to people who ask themselves, “why not me?” and do it. Page 16

Be closed to outside influences. A large portion of inquiries and criticism about my MMG is from bored, discouraged people I know trolling me through sheeple I have had to associate with. Petty people gossip or back stab rather than talk about constructive ideas or work or read. Don’t worry about unconstructive criticism. – Page 19

Gen X, Gen Y, and Millennials are and were attributed with and taught to have certain characteristics. Rather than launch a long diatribe, I’ll simply say the foxes instruct the chickens. Unravel your training. – Page 20
